Before Your Root Canal

• Please eat a full breakfast or lunch.
• If you have been advised by your physician or dentist to use antibiotic premedication prior to dental treatment, please make sure you take this as advised. If there is a question, please call our office prior to your appointment.
• Taking ibuprofen (Advil) prior to your root canal treatment helps reduce post-operative inflammation and pain. Please follow the directions on the bottle. Please do not take if your physician has advised against taking ibuprofen.
• If we have made arrangements with you to take a sedative medication prior to your appointment, an escort will be required to take you home.
